16-Year-Old Organizer Seeks To Build Gen-Z Political Power

DALLAS, TX (March 29, 2023) — Today, 16-year-old local organizer William He launched a new non-profit aiming to build Gen-Z political power: Dream for America. The Organization of starts off with a core team of 3 staffers who will spend going through a process likened to many Presidential campaign exploratory committees: spending the next few months recruiting, fundraising, and exploring the best pathway to build Gen-Z political power in a political ecosystem buoyed by a flurry of new and Gen-Z led organizations.

 “As the generation defined by being born into the War on Terror, raised throughout a recession, & is graduating into one of the most turbulent times in our nation’s history – we envision that a better world is possible, but only if Gen-Z has a hand in shaping it. Over the next few months, we’ll be surveying the field and figuring out where are the places we can be the most helpful.”

Since successfully debuting on social media, Dream for America has rallied thousands of followers and young supporters behind their vision. To turn talk into action, they’ve now raised over $10,000 within 24 hours through a partnership with well-respected digital firm MiddleSeat.
